Fear comes from Right

Republicans, Tea Party activists, vitriolic talk show radio hosts, all are scrambling to get under the protective umbrella of collective grief and sympathy over the Tucson massacre.
Don't let them!
Do you think this is inflammatory?
They have preached violence for two solid years; they have vilified our president, calling into question not only his fitness for office but also his essential credentials. They have acted as if, somehow, Mr. Obama wasn't elected, but rather installed by a mindless, idol-worshipping, king-making constituency. They -- with their words and philosophy and advertising and rallies -- have been crystal clear and unequivocal -- they needed to 'take back' the country by whatever means possible.
Don't let them!
The right-wing media juggernaut needs to be called out, and all our elected officials need to stand behind a sweeping repudiation.
Here is a link to the heart of the matter;  here is a compendium of what the far right pundits have been saying these past two years. You are free to dismiss the site below as leftist propaganda, but you cannot ignore the quotes.

Inflammatory? Violence prone? We report, you decide.

Jaxonia will start you off with just one quote:
''I believe we have more to fear from the potential of that bill passing than we do from any terrorist right now in any country.''Rep. Virginia Foxx (R.-North Carolina), on health care reform legislation, Nov. 2, 2009

(And don't buy the crap that Democrats did the same thing with Bush.  The GOP broke new inflammatory ground during the Clinton Adminstration, and spent over a million dollars on his impeachment process alone. Clinton was accused of malfeasance and even murder! With Obama, flaming, fear-mongering rhetoric has ratcheted up disturbingly.)
