...plus c'est la mme chose. The more things change, the more they remain the same.
The song is nigh onto 50 years old, but it seems to be -- unfortunately for us -- as current as ever. The video was made yesterday by a very good friend, Jack, the "Z" Man Thanks Jack!

The GOP -- keep them, and their philosophy, in focus

The GOP cares about the GOP. They care about capitalism, they care about money, they care about themselves.
They do not like the direction America has taken and they want all the efforts being made in that direction to fail. Here's what Jaxonia said a month ago:
What do Republicans want? They want four years of depression and unemployment, four years of chaos in the Middle East and Afghanistan, four years of mortgage foreclosures, bank failures and big-company bankruptcies. They want to make Obama a one-term president, and get that $500,000 CEO salary cap rescinded.
Remember that EIGHT years of Republican rule have started two wars, eroded our Constitution, lost our respect in the world, overspent us from a surplus to a deficit and initiated the economic chaos in which we now wallow.
President Obama wants to cross the aisle and bring some Republicans back into the fold, the fold, incidentally, that America voted for in overwhelming numbers. As of this writing, compromise and inclusion don't seem to be in the cards. The GOP appears determined to repudiate the will of the nation and... what? Return to those thrilling days of yesteryear?
Obama and the Democrats may just have to go it alone. So be it.
Got Grout? Make it SING!

This is an unabashed testimonial for a great solution to a classic problem -- re-grouting bathroom tile. Jack K, the headmaster here at Jaxonia Prep, had toiled tirelessly -- and fruitlessly -- on this task for 30 years. It always seemed like something the average Joe should be able to do, but the results always turned out, well, to be kind, less than great.
One day on the road Jack saw a van flash by with "The Grout Guy" written on its side. He yielded to his inherent grout frustration (and laziness) and called the number.
All right, cut to the chase. His name is Brian, his phone number is 973-635-2446, and he is to grout what Manny Ramirez is to baseball -- a home run machine. Brian did the headmaster's bathroom THREE YEARS AGO, and it still looks like new!
He came fast, he worked fast, he finished fast. How much? Jack honestly doesn't remember, but he does remember that it was very reasonable.
Bottom line? Your bathroom grout problem can be solved with a simple phone call -- Guaranteed!

You're middle class -- ACT LIKE IT!
Do you want to help Obama or this dirt bag?Want to help the economy? Stop acting like a yuppy. Stop leering at and coveting the lifestyles of the rich and famous. Buy a lottery ticket, dream big dreams, but live like your parents did!
Here are a few tips to get you started:
1: Don't lease a car, buy it, and buy American. Keep the price under 25K;
2: Stock up on $6-$8 dollar-a-bottle California wines - the Governator will luv you! And buy American beer!
3: Forget about Nieman Marcus and Nordstrom's -- think Kohl's and K-Mart. Whisk around those racks, you'll be surprised!
4: Learn to cook! A quarter pounder from your kitchen costs less than a dollar and tastes three times better than store-bought. 10 pieces of KFC costs $10 -- two whole chickens cost a little more than half that. Treat yourself to a good restaurant once a month, not twice a week!
5: Buy with cash, and go into the bank to get it. Just the idea of exchanging money with live people will give you an appreciation of its value.
6: SLOW DOWN. Enjoy the day. Take time out to sit someplace outdoors and watch the world. (In Spring now, don't get crazy!)
7: Like to gamble? Only do it with money you could put a match to. Forget the stock market, Vegas or Atlantic City. Go to the horse races! It'll take you a whole day or evening to lose $20, and you'll be getting some fresh air as a bonus. And you have no idea how big and fast and scary horses are until you root one home from the rail!
8: Here's a GREAT, final tip: Forget about 24-7! Shut your consuming down at 6PM. Forgot bread? Feel like an ice cream sundae? You pay extra for that 'convenience'. The world's not coming to an end -- suck it up until tomorrow. Enjoy that quality time with your children or friends.
