Jax's Trip to Mars**

...and it was easy! I actually kicked myself for not thinking of this sooner. All it took was a little imagination and there I was. I even brought along a little Earth bubble-- some gravity, atmosphere, a lawn chair, pack of Camels, bottle of bourbon -- and I eased myself down to check out my homeland.

First impression: DARK
There's lot of space out there, folks; I wouldn't worry so much about asteroids whacking into us.


Second impression: Tiny
Even though I was sitting in a field box seat, there was plenty more eye candy out there vying for my attention. My little blue ball-house was just that -- little, and blue, and not much else.
